No. I work alone, with no middlemen and no showroom to pay for: what you pay for is the wood and the work. The quote is itemised line by line, free and without obligation.
Yes. For a home completed more than two years ago, joinery supplied and fitted by the craftsman is invoiced at 10% VAT instead of 20% (and 5.5% for certain insulation work). Just a simple form to sign, provided with the quote.
A dry cloth day to day, oil or wax now and then depending on the finish. Care instructions come with the delivery — a well-kept piece gets handed down.
